Brittany + Will | A Sunday Brunch Wedding

at the Island House

The Motleys

A Sunday brunch wedding at the Island House on a beautiful March day was the perfect wedding for Brittany and Will!  The high school sweethearts said “I Do” in front of a beautiful flower covered cross in front of the Stone River surrounded by their friends and family. The ladies wore beautiful powder blue gowns with lovely bouquets by Charleston Flower Market, and the men were dressed in summery tan suits and paisley ties. Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with bloody marys and mimosas- the perfect start to brunch! After the wedding party introductions and heartfelt first dances (there wasn’t a dry eye present during Brittany’s dance with her dad!), brunch was served- including fried chicken and waffles and a sweet and savory biscuits. The fabulous Midnight City band kept everyone entertained throughout the day- and both Will and Brittany had turns at the mic! It was such a fun reception and I loved being able to photograph all the dancing and festivities in natural light! Mr & Mrs Motley exited to bubbles and the men’s take on the Citadel sword arch tradition. After photographing Will’s brother Hampton and his wife Debbie’s wedding in 2015, I was so happy that we would be back with the Motley crew (Sorry I couldn’t resist!) to photograph Brittany and Will’s wedding! Congratulations Brittany and Will!  It was a pleasure to work with you and your families!

Thank you to the wonderful vendors!
